Evaluation
My final production was submitted
on time although I didn’t think it would have been due to circumstances out of
my hands where I was stood up and couldn’t film but I saved my production by
voice recording another member of the group who didn’t want to be filmed from
the beginning. I am pleased with the idea I came up with and I still feel it
was the best idea for me and works better than any other idea I would have come
up with. I don’t think it has worked as well as it could have but I did have
very high expectations. All of my paperwork was filled out correctly and submitted
way before deadline as I made sure it was all done before or during the filming.
The people I interviewed are aware that they were filmed and it will be on the
internet and any copyright is for educational purposes only.
My clients were really pleased
with the production and have agreed to publish it on the parish council website
along with the action group’s page. My pre-production was all done ahead of schedule which meant I
could start filming earlier. Although even though started filming ahead of
schedule I didn’t finish early but still made the deadline. Vibe productions didn’t know the
people involved with the action although I have family connections. I gave updates regularly as I
kept in contact with both my customer and my social action group throughout my production
period.
Doing the project on my own meant I had to be
organised and get all the work done on time and alone. I did this by giving
myself a timetable which to follow when I can work.
I feel my project was successful
and I got the point across although I feel it could be improved by giving it
more of a personal touch to someone and had a personal story. A member of the
action stood me up on a number of occasions which held me back from
interviewing her therefore I didn’t get an interview from the head member.
